Canister Filter?

Would a canister filter (Maybe a Fluvel) be enough for my 55 gallon? If so what size would be best to git? Could this do a good job housing live rock, a few reef fish, feather dusters, and maybe a few anemones for my clowns?
Is four power heads too much for my 55? There 170 Gph (kinda small for a 55). Should they be high in my tank or at different levels.

The fluval is the best canister in my opinion. And yes get the biggest one (the 403). If your using your power heads in conjunction with a ug filter you can cut the lift tubes to various sizes to get flow to all parts of the tank.

I'd forgotten the new fluval numbering system. Definately do the newer line of Fluvals they are significantly easier to deal with.
