Canister Filters

I want to upgrade from my Ehiem Pro2 for my sea hrose tank. I need something than has a internal heater and a big filtration system...would like suggestions

Has any one used the Ehiem Pro3?

Hi there, i am using the pro3e and i love it! as all eheims it is easy to use, allthough you will need an inline heater. i cant recommend it enough...........is there anything you would like to know about it?

Thankyou! Yes, how much flow varience does the unit have? I need something that can be turned down to very low flow for my seahorse tank.

The unit has adjustable flow from 400 l/h to 1850 l/h (they actually say you only realisticlly get 1100 l/h once you have media and hoses connected) , to control the flow all you need to do is press the up and down buttons on top of the unit, easy as. it also has a wavemaker function to simulate ocean current.

WOW!!!! That's perfect
Now i just have to scrap together $350!!

$350!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg, in Australia the recommended retail is $850, i paid $800 and i was happy i got such a deal

???????hmmmmmmm let me double check..I'm not sure we're looking at the same canister....

YEP thats the same some, my one is the 2078 model. thats why australia sucks in some ways. i work at an aquarium shop and our cost is 2 x that much (with media included)
