Canopies?

I have a 48x24x18 tank and need a canopy. I dont really want to buy one so if anyone has ideas on how to make one please share with me.

you can go to your local glass shop and ask for a few pieces to cover the top... was wondering if the tank has a divider in the middle ????????? good luck~~~

I made a canopy for my 30 gallon for less then $10. I bought the scrap wood from my local home depot. It was a shelving unit that was white and it had terrible scars on one side so they sole it to me real cheap. Then I bought a 6 foot section of wood. I used the white piece as the top which would hold my new VHO setup. The other wood I created legs out of. It fits on top of my AQ and doesn't look too bad either. Total time less then 2 hours and 5 beers, and under $10.

I wouldnt use a piece of glass, if it ever broke(murphys law)results would be devistating. Use LEXAN. STEVE
