anyone have any plans on making a canopy for a 35 hex tank? if so let me know. would be greatly apprietiated

A hex canopy is pretty hard to make. Here is my suggestion. Take a piece of scrap plywood and lay in over yout tanks top. Then frmo under it trace the outline is your tanks edge. This will be your rough outline. now make another line about 3/4 inch all the way around the first line. Then cut out on both lines you will be left with a doughnut type shape hex that should sit right on the top of your tank. Then make another one exactly the same. Now once you have 2 of these. You can use them at the frame for your canopy. Put one on the bottom and one on the top. Attatch your boarsd to these leaving like 1 1/2 inch hang over on bothe ends to cover the trim on your tank and to allow for a top to be placed down into the top. That is about the only way I can explain it. Hope it helps. Any questions just ask I'll do my best to help.
