Canopy plans for corner bow

I have a 54 gal corner bow I want to make a canopy for.
Im pretty sure I know what to do for the frame, but what about the wood for the front. I wont put doors, but will have to top so the front opens for feedings and cleaning. I found some pretty thin wood that I should be able to get to bend. Would wetting it first help this. For the top, would 1/4 or 1/2 inch ply wood be better. i am mounting a single 250 mh and a single t5 for actinic.
should I go 10 or 12 inch tall.

Personally I would go pedant for a corner tank, but just me. I like the look of a good pendant. Looks clean and an open top stays cooler, IMO.

3/8 plywood bends pretty easy if you run the grain up and down.If you take a full sheet (4'x8'x3/8") stand it up and bow it(give it a hug
) ,you will see what i mean. You could probably make a door as well. Place a piece of 3/4"ply on top of your tank and scribe it.Cut the scribe into 1 1/2 " rips (one for top and bottom) add some 2x2 uprights and skin it with the 3/8.

If my interpretation is correct, wouldn't this give her a door 1 1/2 inches thick? With the top and bottom inside braces being made of the 3/4" plywood?

Picture the canopy as a radius wall built with 2x2 studs and 3/4" top and bottom plates.
The door would be the same thickness but it would have to be flush mount door .

Yep, gotcha, figured that was what you were suggesting.
