This is what i did.I got some 1x8 pine from my lumber yard and made the back and 2 sides.then i made the top about 3/4 the depth of the tank with a 1/2 in overhang on each side. this is where you mount the lights, leave 2 inches in the back to support the canopy. Now connect 2 pieces of wood one the rest of the depth of the top and one hight of the canopy,8",and attach them to the top with hinges thi will give you access without moving the lights.stain the top and paint the inside gloss white, thenmake holes in the back for your wires to exit for the lights and power heads and mount your 660 on the back piece of wood between to 3" cooling fans.flip the canopy over and put some scrap wood blocks on the inside 2.5" up from the bottom and when in place it will cover the topplastic rim on top of the tank.IT is easier to build than it sounds,i also built my stand and i have no carpenty skill at all..........I hope that was a little help let me know if you have any ?s good luck

I just built one for my 75 gal awhile back.
didn't follow these exactly, but it did point me in the right direction. If you need some pics of what I did, lemme know. Mines not store bought quality, but it doesn't look too bad, and it works well.
