can't figure out how to post this pic

I am trying to post a pic of me. I can post all my "Quick Time Picture" pictures, but this one is"Windows BMP" picture. It is the same size as the other ones but alot more KB's. Does anyone know how to convert it or anything.

when u are looking at it in you bitmap veiwer. Click 'file' then hit 'save as'. It will then ask you how you want to save it like normal. Down below the document name it gives you a list of file types. scroll down the list and click 'jpeg' or 'jpg'. Then hit 'ok' or 'save' and it should be saved in the same folder as the .bmp file. Then post.

sorry for the dumb question but what is the bitmap viewer and how do i get to it.

The paintbrush tool is a bitmap veiwer. Most windows systems have this from the factory.
