I dont know what i would do without my coffee in the morning! I crave it, and think about it before going to sleep at night. (wow cant wait for my morning java) I have this great machine by KEURIG that makes just ONE cup of freshly brewed JAVA hence NO WASTE and has like 60 different flavors, My favorite is my TIMOTHY'S and is called "FAIR WILLY TRADE" it is a dark brew from SUMATRA.. Any body else have this machine or want to share favorite blends? P.S. If I have to do a STARBUCKS, I love the Carmel Machiato!

I have the machine and used it everyday until I had to stop drinking coffee. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the blend that I used to love. However, I've also made hot chocolate with this machine and it's great.

Nothing like a good ol'e fashioned RED EYE in the morning:
1-24oz. cup of any blend of coffee (not decaffeinated)
2-shots of espresso
A touch of honey and a touch of lemon.(to kill the taste of old transmission oil)
Its kinda like looking up and seeing a speeding bus headed right for ya

I drink a large cup of Cafe Bustelo every day. Its great cheap espresso. I just up a nice pot and drink it black.
I also enjoy a good cup of Starbucks.

I recently invested in a nice French Press, I love it and highly recommend it to any serious coffee drinker. I'm sorry to say it HeatLover, I have the Keurig, and the coffee is just not as (for lack of a better word) "fresh" tasting to me. My favorite blends are the dark roasts from Africa, I love Whole Foods coffee selection. I grind them, and keep them in a sealed canister in the freezer, because thats what Alton Brown (the brainy guy from the Food Network) recommends.

The keurig is around $150, but IMO, it is just convenient being able to do 1 cup at a time, and it is cool having all the different flavors available. You can make a better brew from your Mr. Coffee IMO. If you are into flavored Coffee, the Keurig is the way to go, I just don't think the little packets you have to use with it are very fresh.
Good to see you on the boards, hope you are feeling well.

The Keurig is also good because you don't have to wait for the water to heat up. The coffee is brewed instantly.
And it looks kind of cool.

Takes about a minute per cup. Bed Bath and Beyond always has those 20% coupons around too, which takes another $30 off.

No, you would take the water from the RO though, and pour it into the machine.
