Just got it. I think I spelled it right. Anyways, a lot like a colt, it's just purple/blue. When it goes to sleep, should it shrink or slump over? Mine slumps over when the light is moved or when you move it. Then it takes 4 ever for it get back up. wutz up w/ it? Thankx!!

Mine sometimes slump over but that is because it is so tall that when the lights go out it just loses strength or something and slumps over. I have others that just recline into a ball and they take a while to comeback but not like forever some times they take a few minutes to return to original state. BUt again I am also a noob so maybe someone with more info will reply.

Keep in mind that you just got this coral. It is still probably acclimating to your system and will be a little sluggish.
Once it gets settled in, you will probably notice that it cycles in its night phases. This is a very interesting coral from my experiences. As soon as the lights go off, it will stay the same for a period of time during which the coral feeds on some of the nightime activity in the tank. Then you will see it slump over, and eventually shrink to a fraction of its original size. Then it will open again, and close. Kinda random and it depends on how much particulate food is in the water. You will notice a HUGE difference in growth rates if you dose DT's to your tank. I mean HUGE! Also another neat thing about this coral is that it is one of a few corals that frag itself when it gets too big. It pinches off its own arms and drops them. Where ever they land and attach a new colony will form. I keep a lot of shells near the base of mine so they have something highly mobile to attach to. I trade em to the LFS.
