I have a FO, 55 gal. with a wet dry w/ bio balls. I am also running an old Eheim 2013 from my original fresh water. I have the Eheim filled 2/3's with carbon and the top 1/3 with filter material.
My basic question is should I be running this much carbon in a saltwater? Do I need to run any?
My tank has been up and running for almost a year like this with great test readings. So my gut says don't change anything.
Any suggestions?
