carpet acting strange

help my carpet acts really strange. i just got him like 3 days ago and i put him on the rock. he sometimes get big and then shrinks to almost nothing. he even sticks part of his insides out of his mouth.(just a small part of him). i touch him and he still stcks real good and is still very green. he will not eat any frozen brine that i squirt at him either.help what should i do?? <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" /> <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" />

This is normal behavior when an anemone is put in a new home.They expell the water from the tank they were in,and replace it with new water from your tank..I hope your water quality is good enough for this animal.From the list on your post,yopur 90 gallon tank is really OVERSTOCKED. Anemones require near perfect water,Oversytocked tanks rarly have good water quality....Plus intence lighting is also needed to keep them alive and thriving...

oops i forgot to edit that. all my fish are gone. all i got left is everthing but ALL the fish and these anemones so far.
