My carpet anemone got caught in my pump, but it was just a little section of it. Its a white carpet with yellow little tentacles. The part that got caught looks like white now and looks as if the tentacles came off. Is there any way I can help it? Or feed it something special?
Leave it alone, it will heal...now cover all of your power heads, you dodged the bullet this time around. I had anemones try to commit sushi plenty of times, they bounce back if they don't completely chop themselves into tiny bits. I have grown to hate them...I think they are pretty but not worth all the problems they cause.
When you cover all your power heads it slows the flow of water and the material has to be cleared once a week or it completely clogs the PH. If you leave the PH open you risk killing the anemone and polluting your tank. Good luck with it.
