carpet anemone ?

i would like to now is a carpet a good one to have for a maroon clown to host and if so i have read storys of the anemone eating fish any advice would help . p.s if not what is a easy one to care for and that will surely host a couple of maroons thanks all

Carpets can host several clown species, however it can also pack one of the stronger stings out there and yes it can eat fish.
There are no guarentee's that a clown will host. If a carpet then I would suggest Metal Halide lighting. If MH lighting is not available then I would suggest the largest BTA you can find that is larger than the female clownfish.

I HAVE A MAROON CLOWN THAT RESIDES IN MY BLUE CARPET ALL THE TIME. AT FIRST THE BCA LOOKED LIKE HE WANTED TO EAT THE CLOWN CLOSING UP ON AROUND HIM BUT THE CLOWN ALWAYS ESCAPED. NOW THE BCA DOES NOT EVEN MESS WITH HIM. IT TOOK 6 MONTHS FOR THE CLOWN TO TAKE TO THE BCA THOUGH
