i've posted some similar pics before but figured i'd go all out this time.
i had a 29 gallon tank set up for a little over a year and decided to downsize and try my luck with a ten gallon. at first i was only going to put shrooms but you know how that goes. it is going to be a pretty cool little reef when i'm done. i'm pleased with how it is going so far.
what's in it:
about two inches of aragonite reef sand (very fine), estimating about 20 lbs. live rock, a yellow belly damsel, and a baby maroon clown. the clown will eventually have to move to the bigger tank but i just couldn't pass up the deal (8 bucks). my first coral was a mushroom rock that is doing very well so far, they are already much bigger than they were when i first got them. i'm also using a bio wheel filter. i've got 4 scarlet hermits, 5 astrea snails, and 4 nassarius snails. for lighting i started out with 2 18 watt pc, now i have one 18 watt and one 28 watt. when i can start spending money on myself again (after Christmas) i plan on buying 96 watt pc lighting. i guess that about does it.
i do one gallon weekly water changes. all levels are good, nitrates are at 10, nothing to worry about. well i guess all that's left is the crumby pictures, hope you guys enjoy
first my awful attempt at a full tank shot
