cat shark pup

well mine hatched saturday and i spoke to one of the guys at the pet store and he said to feed the shark at night . it worked fine he ate everytime i offered him silver sides . now the last 2 days i have been feeding the other tanks mates and he comes out to look for food . it is cool to see him eat with the other fish which are a black spot grouper, lionfish , yellowhead moray , niger trigger and no one bothers him they stay away i,am so happy just wanted to share my joy . oh his name is jaws ,lol

i dont want this to sound mean, but your joy will turn into a nightmare soon enough with a niger trigger and a shark. He is going to eventually pick the eyes out of your shakrs head, and whats worse is that he is a pup so theres no way of defending himself.
the trigger and shark may be best friends right now in your eyes but one mornign the shark will be dead.. your going to have to pick the shark or the trigger..or you can wait it out until the trigger kills the shark but noone wants to have to say " i told you so"
hope everythign works out for you and you make a wise decision

You went on and on about how you were going to put the egg into the 55gal.
What happened to that?
We've already discussed how dangerous it is to leave the pup in with the other fish...you're only asking for trouble.

i was going to put the egg in the 555 but it hatched in my 125 and i didn,t put in the 55 because i,am treating my clarks clown for pop eye in that tank. but i decided to keep the cat shark in my 125 for now no problems at all . everyother fish leaves him alone and everyone eats alot so i,am stay with this plan for now .thats for the comments and concern .
