Catching Fish

Can anyone give me any ideas on how to remove one fish from my 40 gal stretch hex. I have two clown fish that have taken residency under some live rock and one I believe has developed Brooklynella . . . all the forums say to remove the fish and do a fresh water dip . . . the problem is that everytime they see the net, they disappear into the rock crevices and WILL NOT come out until I remove the net. I've left the net in for two days hoping they would "get used to it" and the smart little boogers disappear as soon as I move the net. I've a mind to just leave him in there to try to fight the disease off himself (actually, herself) but my family and I have gotton so attached to them . . . also in the tank are the following:
1 Sally Lightfoot Crab
1 Red legged crab
1 Clam
1 Gorgonian
assorted mushrooms and corals
3 chromis
1 Chalk Basslet
1 Turfmower Blenny
Any suggestions? Also, don't believe the 3 second memory theory they say fish have. I had one clown end up in the filter while the other one tried to tell me it was there for two days. . . WHAT A HAPPY DANCE WE SAW WHEN THE SECOND WAS RESUCED!
Thanks.

Move the rock over. Have a free space, preferrably about half. Fashion a divider out of eggcrate. Add some food to the tank and drop the divider when the fish goes into the open area.

I have done this exact thing and it worked well but the egg crate edges do scratch the glass. Maybe after it is cut one could put some silicone on the sharp edges and let it cure for a day before using. Don't think you have that kind of time thought. Lesley
