CBS lost his claws!

He molted last night, and left his claws w/ his exo. This has not happened until now. He can still eat, and I know they will grow back, but what the hell happened? Thanx for any input.

thats weird. one of my zebra legs lost a leg, never grew it back. he is dead now

keeping your trace elements up? Sometimes this can be related to lack of minerals in the tank. Just a possibility.

Mine lost both of his on his last molt and he died, he could not defend himself and the other cb killed him

i think that its a lack of iodine in the tankwater.....when i had low levels of iodine in my tank, my shrip would always shed irregularly, but after bumping it up, they do fine now!

usually they do after multiple sheds!

shrimp for sure, not sure about hermits. I wish all my bluelegs would lose their claws!
