CBS Temperment

In general are coral banded shrimp good tempered. I thought the rule was if the claws are pointed then shrimp and crabs are not wanted. I have a CBS he is about two years old and he chases after my fish, killed two peppermint shrimps and caught and ate a worm. I think he may have killed my sailfin.
Situation 75 gal
All water params perfect
Nothing changed
Remaining fish are fine
One day he was okay (sailfin)
next day he was stuck to the filter intake
I put him in the QT
He was swimming upside down (why do fish swim upside down when sick...equilibrium)?
He didn't survive.
His tail looked as if it had been picked and he had a hole in his head as it had been picked.

From my readings it is hit and miss with CBS. A lot of miss though as they seem to get more serial killer type as they get older.

Oh my! I had a feeling that I was going to have to move him. I really like him he looks awesome climbing around in all of the rock, but I don't want him terrorizing everything. I think he may have even eaten some of my torch coral.
