my cbs shrimp is missing a claw, does anyone have idea why? I only have him and a cleaner shrimp and cleaner crew in tank. I had other fish but had ammonia spike and lost them all but the shrimp and cleanup crew. Tested water today and ph is 8.2, amm 0, nitrate and nitrites right, salinity 1.021 after making 5% water change today. I am thinking of adding fish again, tank was set up 9/10. this is a 40 gal low, any suggestions on fish that will last???? how many????

My CBS molted & didn't have 1 claw after the molt. He grew the claw back with his next molt. Maybe that's what happened...

CBS should be kept alone, very often they will attack and kill other shrimp i suspect your CBS and your cleaner im asuming a skunk cleaner shrimp got into a little fight but dont worry to much after he molts he'll have a new claw
