Today I changed from CC to LS. I have a 29G tank. Only 10lbs. LR, but I'll be taking care of that next. One damsel and several snails and crabs. I have a Bakpak filter with the media in and a HOT Magnum with carbon running. Will I have to "clean the filter" because of the sand. I was very careful adding the sand and the water back in, so no cloud storms. If I am suppose to clean them, what do I do? Will I have to take out the shreads. So far nothing is spilling over into the skimmer. I added about 12 G of new water.
