Some of my chaeto that was in my fuge somehow made its way into my DT and it starting to grow in the bottom of my tank where I can't reach it. Could this become a problem in my tank?

It could be a problem if it starts to grow everywhere uncontrollably.
If you have any tangs, they should eat it up pretty quickly.

One more thing, is there anything else that would eat the chaet besides tangs or any large fish?
