I ordered some chaeto from the

. The problem is that my mail carrier got lazy and put the box inside my wife's car where it stayed at least one night. My wife stays home with the kids so it could have been several days in the car since she doesn't go out much in winter. The temp here is 31 degrees daytime and 20ish at night. The macro looks OK-bright green and firm. Is there anything that I can do to improve its chances/help it?
Some strands have a white coating on parts. Any idea what this is? I'll post a pic in a bit...I'm late for a staff meeting.
Thanks for any help.

You could still make it,, i like to soak it and shake it a little in some salt water,, then DIRECTLY into the FUGE! The white parts you are talking about are dying chaeto. GOOD LUCK!

It is tough stuff. It will probably live; throw it in the fuge. Unfortunately any bugs or bristleworms that hitchhiked kicked the bucket already.
:joy:
