I used to have my caulerpa in the tank. It was ok if not in to much current. Then I bought a cb butterfly and he ate all of it. Some people change HOB filters into refugiums.

I think he is talking about Cheato. You can get a small in tank refug with its own designated small power head that works great pm me for info

LFS said it was red and green caulerpa. It added a lot of looks to the tank and live rock because I have no corals on my live rock.
Could LFS be wrong?

Not sure I understand your question the person who started the thread was asking about Cheato, not Caulerpa. They are two different things

Get an in-tank fuge, the 2 doctors sells them.. make sure your water flow and lighting is sufficient as well.. throw a few little pieces of LR in there of possible..

yea i've been to bensonhurst ...i think im gonna get the small in tank refugium from CPR a friend of mine will sell one to me ill just throw in small amount of sand and a small rock and small ball of cheato and have the powerhead on or connect the tube from my powerhead to the refugium i guess....i have the perfect place for easy access also. i guess i can throw in pods as well as they will probably propagate and spread and ill have a steady supply

I was not asking a question. I was making a comment about another macroalgae.

Hey Alien,
The way to PM someone is to click on the name of the person you want to send a PM to and a drop down box opens and there you can click on the option "send a pm to that person"
