Chalice Question

Does a chalice grow like montipora? I've never had one and was just wondering. Are they slow growers?

Sometimes plating, sometimes encrusting, slow grower.
Here is my only one on a rock down in the sandbed.

How big is that one and how big did it start out as? And how long have you had it?

Started out about the size of a nickel. It is now about the size of a silver dollar. The earliest picture I have been able to find of it in my tank is from April-2008.

I guess then that they are slow growers!
