Since I canged over to sand 100 lbs of southdown 40 lbs LS.My skimmer don't seem to be working.At least it isn't putting out any foam of any kind.I have cleaned it twice since I switched over Sunday.What could be wrong?
Do you mean you cleaned your sand?
You really souldn't disturb the sand bed at all.
How big and what is in your tank? How old is it?
You prolly took out alot of trash that was stuck in your CC so your skimmer has slowed down.

No I took out my CC and put in sand.I switched from a 45 gallon tank to a 65.Replaced everything that was in the 45 but the cc.Since then nothing in the skimmer.Tested the water all tests were good. ph 8.4 Nirate 0 Nitrite 0 Alk 3.5 Amo .01 Cal 400
