Changin LEDs in an Aquapod 12g

For some reason the LEDs in my Aquapod went out. I really like the moonlighting effect, but don't know how to repair the bulbs. Has anybody used a replacement kit on your hood's LEDs or done a retrofit kit as opposed to stock LEDs?...... and how difficult is it to install the new bulbs?
(by the way, im not the type to mess around with electrical stuff).

If you're not the type to mess with this kind of stuff, perhaps you should look at alternatives.
Replacing the LEDS would require soldering, and at any rate, it's probably not the LED but a current limiting resistor.
Have you checked out some of the modded hoods that are out there? Google NanoTuners. There are companies out there that sell pre-modded hoods that simply swap in for many of the major manufacturers. That may be your best option if you are not inclined to take on the project yourself.
