I'm going to be changing my shell bottom to Southdaown Sand and Ls soon. question is do I need to rinse the sand or just put it in as is. My plan is to drain most of the water out,pull out the UGF plates. take out the rest off the bad water. put the LR down , put all sand in, fill up with water, add water i needed and run for a few days to clear and add my fish back in. Does this sound right. Any sugessions ou there?
