Changing saltwater tank

Here is the problem I had to take water out because my stand was breaking and now I think I might have to much salt in it after refilling Do I wait for salt to dissolve then test or test now?

give it 24 hours with pumps circulating and take a salinity reading. Adjust salinity after that.

to late now, find out how bad it is
if too high, take out tank water and add the same ammount of ro water till salinity is good
