Changing Substrate?

Now I have crushed shells, I want to change my substrate to live sand. How do i do this? My tank is in the cycle now. do i have to wait till its done?

Heck...if its cycling just remove all of the crushed coral and replace with a better quality substrate. Better now than later.

Just take it out and put the ls in.
I wouldn't wait.
It would go thru another cycle if you added it later .
Ls helps the cycle go faster also.
