yup that always gets shot down. They say cuz its not a dating website and there are plenty of other things to chat on. But I think itd be pretty kool to have a chatroom on here with a lot of fish lovers!

I think it's a bad idea. There are plenty of chat rooms all over the place and I don't think one is needed here. It's always young people who ask about it. I guess I've been there, done that years ago and chat rooms always turn into being completely different than what it was intended to be.
That would also require mods to be there 24/7.

yeh your right it isnt as big of a deal now that I got pm privelages it was just hard to have questions and see quite a few people online and no way to reach them

live chats are far to hard to moniter, you get one trouble maker on for even 2 minutes and you get all kinds of cusses inappropriate behaviour and things that have no place in a family oriented forum. there are peole out there who take delight in nothing but going to chat sites to cause hate and discontent, MSG boards are often too slow for them so a lot of them get filtered out as the want instant angst. I think a live chat would be more trouble than its worth even though it would be fun to have live rounds of open chat.

We have no current plans to add a chat feature.
