I was buying some repair parts for a dryer the other day and noticed the guy working on a microwave. While he was searching for my part, I snooped too see what was inside one.
There is a 120v fan.
Upon his return, I struck up a conversation with him and mentioned the fan. I told him of my reef hobby, and that I might be interested in buying a couple of them.
He told me that he just threw out a huge box of used ones "yesterday", because "those things never go bad, and theres no point to keep them on hand."
He then scrounged around, not that I asked him to, and found one. I offered to pay him for it, but he declined.
If money is tight...free aint so bad.
