I've looked all over the net for cheap tanks but can't find one. Everything else is cheaper on the net. Does anybody know where I can purchase one from? Looking for 75 gal. Stand and canopy also. Please E-mail me with the Address. Jarlee1@cs,com

I would look in your local classifieds for a used one. Just make sure to inspect it carefully for scratches or leaks. I got my 75gal reef ready All Glass tank, with stand, sump, lids, N.O. flourecents, and crushed coral for $450(somehow I've still managed to spend at least another 1500  ) But I got it for less than half of retail, and it's a very nice tank. If you don't see one right away, be patient. I've seen lots some days, then none for a couple of weeks.

i went with a used one for economical reasons as well. picked up a 30 gal + emperor 400 filter for 50.00
one thing though, no matter if it leaks or not, I would highly reccomend re-sealing the tank. for an extra 10 bucks, you'll have the peace of mind that your not gonna bust a seam later on. its a lot harder to do a year from now when your tank is all set up.

I recommend testing the tank for leaks, but if you don't find a leak, I wouldn't re-seal it. The reason is that in order to get a good seal, you need to cut out all of the old silicone from the inside of the tank so that the new silicone will be sealing to the glass, not to old silicone. Just my opinion, but glass aquariums with all silicone seals are pretty reliable if they aren't abused. You should be able to tell if they are in good shape visually.

Many times your lfs will know of someone who wants to get rid of a sat up. So also ask your lfs guy if you don't find one in the papers.

Keep an eye on your lfs. Mine had a tank I believe 80 gallons with a stand a hood with built in mh lighing also a sump and built in over flow that was pre drilled.
All for an amazingly low 395$. The owner was moving and couldn't take it.

I took one of Mr. Salty's recommendations a while back and called local aquarium setup maintenance places (e.g. ones that set up & maintain aquariums in doctor's offices, etc.). I have found a some fantastic deals...personally have yet to act on it but would say to you check it out.
