i brought my strawberry anemone to the LFS so i could try to get some credit. geuss how much they offered. 5$... they said it was a rock anemone. but i know it isnt.i could only get 2 fighting conchs cuz there prices are way high. they guy didnt even fill it with air, he just put some water in it and tied a knot. so how was ur lovely saturday morning, this is the " rock anemone "

How much did you expect to get from it? They can't give you much more, because they still need to make a profit off it.

i expected atleast 10$ and it wasnt a rock anemone i know that for sure, they sell there haitan anemones for 15$. im gonna go back next week and i bet the price is above 20$.

Down here in miami it is about 5 bucks for a hatian.
Is there any other LFS near you?

yea thats a flower anemone that was my first anemone i payed $9 for it and everyone called it a rock anemone.

Flower and rock anemones are the same thing.
Are you sure it is a strawberry anemone? Corynactic californica, right? I do not think so. They only grow to 1" diameter. Check out some pics of them here: http://www.oceanlight.com/lightbox.p...is_californica

no that is definetely not it. this is the strawberry anemone http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homep...S/fragacea.htm and this is my picture of the one i have. very similar
