Cheap Nori

I have always bought my nori at the lfs (expensive) or just clipped some romaine lettuce. I am sure that many of you already know that you can buy nori at the grocery store. I recently bought some at our Publix (Florida) for $1.75 a pack. There is enough in one packet for about four weeks.

I buy a frozen bag of shrimp, squid, octipus etc at the Wal Mart fish counter for $4. I pull out a piece and chop it very fine for the fish a little more chunky for the other meat eaters (anenome, shrimp) and feed it a couple times a week. Lasts so long I have to throw the leftovers out and buy a new bag every 3 or so months. HTH

Yes, we have WalMart super centers that have full grocery stores in them complete with fresh fish/seafood counters. Maybe they don't have those in your part of the country.
