Hey guys,
Recently on the boards there has been some talk to cheap compact fluorescent bulbs that can be plugged into a normal 60W light bulb ballast from Home Depot. They are 19W 6500K bulbs. I just got two of them and ordered a 10W 50/50 screw in bulb as well. I am going to put these in addition to a 13W bookworm which I have also heard about over a 10 gal nano. I was just wondering if anyone had tried these and seen good results. I haven't heard any bad feedback on either one. Any input on what I can expect is appreciated in advance. Would this 6 W/gal be sufficient for zoos and shrooms and possibly xenia? Thanks
