I think the issue with republicans is not so much that they cheat, but that their party's platform, which is take the moral high-road, seems to be a sham for many of them because they moralize in their public life a great deal, and yet privately......And, not so privately when it comes to airport bathroom stalls....
, oh and underage same gender congressional pages......

politicians aren't the only ones who do that kinda crap. so pointing out that republicans have been cheating on their spouse is pointless, because at the same time, i'm sure hundreds of americans were getting some from someone else other than their husand/wife.

Salt, for sure reps are not the only cheaters, however, when their political platform is based on being the "moral" party, having cheaters and even perverts that come to light makes them big fat hypocrites, and is a horrible reflection on the party as a whole, and on republicans and conservatives as a whole. That's probably not fair, but, its up to republicans to clean up their act (and their party).
If you are going to be the moral party, then you best act like you are.
