It was about the size of a golf ball when I got it on the 26Th!!
At this rate I will have to harvest in a couple of weeks!!!!

I guess the light would be considered pretty strong...
I have the Lights Of America Wall Light. It uses a 6500k 42 watt fluorescent bulb (equivalent to a 250 watt bulb) Think I got it for $25.00 at Wal Mart.
I keep the light on 24/7

you should add some miracle mud for substrate & some rubble rock and add some pods that would be cool.

Man that thing is taking over, thats amazing yours is growing so fast. I guess that thing is sucking out some nutrients from the water which is always a good thing. So are your nitrates and phosphates at 0 now? I would assume they would be with that monstrosity! haha

My fuge was full of this stuff but after about a year it slowly "dissolved" away and I could not find more at any LFS. So I went without for awhile. About 4 months ago A form of calupra started to grow it the display. It took over in no time....it was everywhere
. I tried pulling it out but it would just grow back. Finally about 2 months ago it went asexual twice in two weeks, luckily it did not harm anything in the tank, but most of the calupra died off. I was finally able to find a golf ball sized ball of cheato and put it back into the fuge.
My nitrate and phosphate readings has always been zero but I know that this may be a false reading.
I am happy that it is growing quickly but I will be happier when it slows a bit
