Cool. I like the rock wall look.

Questions about it though. Will that impede flow and collect debris and such?

Hmm... Good question. I'm not expert on this but I would think that any sort of rockwork can impede flow and collect debris, which is why we have a cuc. Somebody let me know if I am right in saying this please.

hello there. the tank is looking great. about the powerhead i would get a koralia 1. your corals will love you for it. IMO and also is your tank glass dirty or is that the camera everything else perfect

Combination of dirty glass and bad camera work
I had a thread about the k1 a while back, when I have it in there my xenia close up almost instantly. Will they open up eventually? I do have a spare k1 so if I need to throw it in there I can.

if they closed up instantly move the Koralia around. my K1 is facing my xenias and they seem happy. if you see my thread the last page you can see it in the pics. and how long did you wait till you took the koralia out?

I moved it around trying different spots for about 10 minutes at each spot. I'm picking up a koralia nano tomorrow so if I can't figure out a good spot for the k1 I'll throw that in there.

and did the xenias move or try to open up?
i mean like did you see the tip moving up and down like if they were pumping but closed? did they look like they were getting lots of flow. like to much that they were tilting

some spots they tilted but most of the time they just shrunk and closed up. I put it back in right now and some 'tentacles' (I don't know what else to call them) closed up but most are open. I have the k1 aimed right at my gsp is that going to be ok?

yea. my gsp are getting hit by my koralia as well. and my clove as well to but by my maxijet 1200 return pump. they told me the more flow you have the better it is since you are trying to make it like the ocean wave

ok i got it. I think I found a good spot for the k1 though. My xenia is swaying a bit but only 3 or 4 are closed up. Plus it has only been 10 minutes so I'll see what happend in the next hour. I'm thinking it will work.
