Check the internet before you go to PetSmart

I recently went to Petsmart to purchase a Marineland filter I found online for 89.99. At the store, it was on the shelf for 149.99, I told the guy I found it online, and he went to a computer and cheched it out, He gave it to me for the 89.99, he said they are commonly online for cheaper than the store, and they will all honor the online price.

You got lucky. Most companies dont offer price match from their website. Due to the fact that the product sits in a warehouse, no store front, no planograms to set up and no overhead, they are able to offer it at a cheaper price. However,you have to pay for shipping and that isnt cheap. I am reluctant to believe that what happend is policy. Almost every company I know, doesnt price match their website. ***** usually has cheaper prices but they dont price match either. Thats why the items are label INTERNET PRICE or something that signifies that.

I do it all the time with petsmart. They don't ask any questions. bigal had Xp3's for 89.00. Petsmart had them for 189. They honored it so I got 2. Best deal
