Happened to me twice. The packages leaked, they didnt know what it was. 9 days later I picked up my overnight package. They wouldnt even hand me the box, it was rolled out on a cart.

If I could only see the look on their faces when they got a sniff of that box
I put in the back of my truck and you could still smell the unopened box with the windows up

Put something on the box that states liquid and fragile, maybe harmless saltwater would help also, technically you are supposed to have absorbent material inside so if something liquid breaks it doesn't leak all over. If something is leaking they don't know what it is naturally and regulations require we treat it as haz-mat.

Well, that's the weird thing. I put the coral in to bags, packed it into a small plastic box, wrapped it in news paper and such, then I packed the small plastic boc into a larger plastic box, padded that and used packing tape and duck tape to make sure it would make it to the east coast safe and sound.
Alaina said the corkies are just fine....I wonder what they thought was in the bag????
