well i put the stuff in today.
its been about 8hrs. and the slime looks like its falling appart.
fish are all still alive (good)
hope it looks better in the AM.
anyone ever used it?
how did it work for you.:notsure:

oyam this is one of the treatments that I guided you on. It does work well, but take care not to overdose. Be sure to do the waterchange followup.
Also, during this treatment, go ahead and turn off your tank lights, except for just a couple of hrs during tank feeding. This should do the job.

water change done
seems to have done the job.
i pulled most of the slime out.
its good to see white sand.
most all my rock still has good color.
fish seem ok.

It is a good product, but you will still have some cyrno. I would suggest that you turn lights off except for a couple of hrs a day over the next 4-7 days. If you do this, you will pretty much take care of the problem for a long time.

had to give one more shot of chemi-clean (last week).
now all is well.
put new rock in today.
hope all keep going well.
would you do chemi-clean Q month as they recomend, or just treat if needed?

I would use only as needed. However, your best bet now would be to cut back significantly on lights for several days to try and irradicate the bacteria. If this is a real problem in your tank, then you will need to consider what is causing the problem. An occassion cyano, however, I think is pretty normal for tanks with LR.
