Anywhere. Just make sure a lot flow goes through it. Very good media though.

I would only run it until the phosphates start to come back a little. Doesn't have as long of a life as regular chemi pure.

well i have a green hair algae problem so i put some filter pads in my filter to pull the phospates out b/c seems like everybody said that was a good way to get rid of the hair algae

The chemi pure will help with the hair algae also. It is all about removing the source and food of the algae.

should i put the chemipure in there with the phospate pads on the chemi pure it says put one unit for 50-100 gallons how much is one unit?

Yes, use them together. One unit is one $10-$15 container.

do you empty it out of the bag or do you put the bag its self in i have a tray i can pour it in that slides in a slot on the filter which would be the best way?

My chemi pure container says DO NOT empty the bag, put the whole thing in, just flatten it out a little.

Yep, never empty it out of the bag. Just put it right in after the rinse.

i had to get a media bag cause all of it wouldnt fit into my aquaclear 50. as long as the bag is fine enough you could put the chemipure in it. some does get lost/spill out and it makes a mess at first. but now i have two media bags full of it..so when one is worn out i can use the second one. it took a while to transfer bags but it was worth it for me
