Has anyone ever used this? How good is it? I have heard some great stuff but i want to hear more opinions. And, does anyone know if i can use it in a reactor?

I use it, it seems to work well. I do not buy into the no water change claims, and I replace it more often than the 4-6 months in the instructions.

I use and forever will use Black Diamond carbon. I love it. I found it works better than Chemi-Pure. I change it once a week though.

yeah i didnt buy into the "makes your fish live 4x longer" or "water changes once a month" stuff. for $5.50 which will last 2 yrs i might as well try it out.

I am a firm believer in it. Especially in nanos. Have used it off and on over the last 10+ years and can always see a difference in diatoms and undesirable algae growth. A good test is to run a skimmer without it and without making any changes in tank livestock additions and feeding add the chemi-pur and you will see the skimmer produce less. I keep it in return sump filter sock, but would probably work best in a phos reactor or no-bypass filter.
But on the other hand I would not recommend it if you don't do water changes often or use trace elements. It probably strips those along with excess organics like carbons do.
