chemi pure

hi has anyone ever used chemi pure how often do u change it, and how often areater changes it says it decreases expensive water changes. :thinking:

i use it once every two months for about three weeks. it works great. all my water tests come out the same every week. BUT i still do my weekly or bi-weekly water changes. i will not risk my whole tank and everything i have worked on and believe that i won't have to do water changes too often. i say use it but please do your water changes.

Change it as per the directions on the bottle.
I love it. Don't try to use it to stop doing water changes, still change water as your nitrate levels dictate. Although... I had a Tomato Clown, without a mate, lay eggs every 2 weeks in water that hadn't had a change in long enough to... well... if I told you I would get flamed along the lines of being called either a liar or a bad influence and that I don't know what I'm doing.
ChemiPure is just a deionizer, it's like constantly running your tank through a DI unit.
