i have no live rock or sand and i have ICH in my tank people say to use a chemical called rid ICH or copper will these work good and fast

Do a search on "ick" on this BB and look for responses from Anthem and Beth. These two Sharks, in particular, have provided many detailed explanations of how to successfully treat ick.
I do know that Rid Ick will not work.....only copper or hyposalinity will.....read the info from anthem or Beth.

Cool, we have given you the best advise on how to cure your ick problem. You are searching for an alternative treatment now?? You best decide what you want to do with treating your fish fast, or you may not have any left to treat.
All of the mods here endorse hyposalinity to treat ick. You can use a copper based medication, but it is not the best choice for ick. Not that it won't cure the disease effectively, rather the copper is a toxic substance. Its toxicity is what kills parasites, however, it is also toxic to fish [to a much lesser degree when used in correct doses].
Why are you hesitating? Inaction is jepordizing your whole fish tank. Hyposalinity is just as effective as copper, and the time factor is basically the same. The difference is that with hypo, you are not subjected your fish to a toxic substance unecessarily.
Anyway. What ever you decide, good luck!
