Anyone have any experience with how big these get. I have had mine about two months and it has almost doubled in size. Eats like a pig.

if it is variola louti, it will get huge! they can get to 3" in the wild, so it could get to be 24"+ in your tank. they are really cool fish. i hope you have a large tank, because they need one, at least 200 gallons imo, probably larger. if your tank isnt big enough, you could always exchange when he gets too big for a miniatus, blue line, etc. depending on your tank size. hth, bo

I just brought home my cherry grouper and it is getting white color changes. It will swim around a little and the pinkish color will come back, but then it goes and hides and the color is gone again. I have read that this is an easy fish to have. Is it just stressed? It was doing the color change thing before I put it in the tank while it was still in the bag floating. Had my water checked and my water is great. Anyone have any input?
