Ok heres the deal, my Dad is going to Chicago on some business and I wanna know which lfs has the best live rock for the price? I am looking at getting Fiji. Can anyone help me out? I want saltwater stores which are impressive to which has lots of inverts that he can bring back. Also, how does the airline handle you bring stuff onto the airline?

There are a couple of good ones.
In Chicago, Old Town Aquarium on Wells St.
In Park Ridge, Living Sea Aquarium on Devon
Scott's Pet Shop, I think in Westchester
I'll try to get address's and phone numbers for you tonight. Both can be found via a google search.
As far as Good rock at a cheap price. Good luck this is the midwest! I'm very familiar with the first 2 listed and they are both very good. Worth checking out!

Advanced Aquatics in Schaumburg. Aquatic World at Belmont and Lincoln in Chicago. They are my favorite places for Fiji live rock. Prices are around 6 - 8 dollars a pound depending on volume and or sales.

Old Orchard Aquarium is not to bad of a place to shop for fish. Its located in skokie IL.
