Chili coral placement?

There seems to be a difference of opinions where this coral should be placed. Most people say to hang them upside down but other things ive read online say to place them in the sand. What has anyone who has them found to work best?? I know their long term survival rate is bad but what placement works best for them? in the sand or upside down?

From the ones I have seen, its best to put them in the sand. Hope that helps...

Thats where mine is, didnt really have a good place to hang him so i put him in the sand.

I have two both are mid way up on my rock. they love it there, I stated with them up side down for two months I thought the where dead. I themmoved them and stood them straight up they have been doing great ever since.
