Does anybody have one? If so are they a hard coral, or are they spongy? Easy to keep? And how fast do they grow?

They are a coral and not a true sponge. They are normally found growong upside down, under ledges, overhangs, & cave entrances. They therefore do not demand or need much light. They do need strong currents to let them filter out food particles. At night mine has great polyp extension. Bodu is blood red and polyps are snow white. I have had it since 12/15/06 is all, but it was just a ball a little large than a quarter. Now it's almost like a golf ball.
Hope this helps.
