chiller / skimmer problem help!!!

ok ive got a 150 gallon reef tank just getting started with its be running now for 1.5 weeks cycleing. this is my question wonce i plugged in my chiller to start cycling cold water to the tank my skimmer is not ove bubbling mean just over flowing for some reson its been doing this now for 3 hrs and ive empty out the cup 9 times now so if anyone has any idea plz let me know thx everyone

I guess you've tried lowering the stand pipe? If it's a new skimmer, then it'll take about a month to "break in". After that you should be able to tune it accordingly.
I wouldn't normally suggest it, but since your tank is a week old, if the skim is clear, then f-it and let it over flow back into the sump.
You could also drill a small hole into the bottom of the skim cup and run an air line from their to a gallon sized milk jug.
